Description
The FXOS8700CQ is a low-power, 3-axis linear accelerometer and 3-axis magnetometer in a single device. The device has an I2C or point-to-point SPI serial interface, 14-bit accelerometer and 16-bit magnetometer ADC resolution, and smart-embedded functionalities. The FXOS8700CQ features a fixed magnetic measuring range of 1200 T and dynamically configurable acceleration full-scale ranges of 2 g/4 g/8 g. The user can set output data rates (ODR) ranging from 1.563 Hz to 800 Hz for each sensor. At ODR frequencies of up to 400 Hz, interleaved magnetic and acceleration data is provided. The FXOS8700CQ is available in a plastic QFN packaging and is guaranteed to perform within a temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.
