Description
The MCP1703T-3302E/CB is a 3-pin SOT-23A fixed output CMOS low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator. The input operating range is specified as 2.7V to 16V, making it an excellent choice for two to six primary cell battery-powered applications, as well as 9V alkaline and one or two cell Li-Ion powered applications. MCP1703 output voltage tolerance is typically 0.4 percent at +25°C and 3 percent maximum across the -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range. Line regulation is typically 0.1 percent at 25°C. When only 1F of output capacitance is used, the LDO output is stable. Electrolytic capacitors made of ceramic, tantalum, or aluminum can be used for input and output. Overcurrent and overtemperature protection provides a reliable solution for any application.
