The Texas Instruments LM96163CISD/NOPB is a digital temperature sensor for thermal management applications. It measures and maintains accurate temperature readings from -25°C to +125°C in a 10-pin SON package. The device has an internal temperature sensor which reads temperatures in multiple locations and provides an accurate temperature signal to the system controller. The LM96163CISD/NOPB also has a differential ADC, so the sensor can be used to measure the temperature difference between two locations. The device has an adjustable temperature window to allow for precise temperature management in applications that require a controlled temperature differential. It operates at up to 5 MHz, and a 4x oversampling feature offers improved accuracy and better noise prevention, even in systems with highly sensitive components. The LM96163CISD/NOPB is suitable for a wide range of thermal management applications, including electronics cooling, LED lighting, HVAC, and renewable energy systems.
