The Texas Instruments LM2678T-ADJ/NOPB is a wide-input range, step-up DC-DC converter with true advantages over linear regulators. Its operating voltage ranges from 3.13V to 40V and provides a low cost board with an adjustable output voltage from 2.5V to 24V with an adjustable switching frequency of 200kHz. The device integrates integral current sloping control for easy inductor selection and allows for output current up to 2.5A. It also features an adjustable soft-start and integrated output over-voltage protection. The LM2678T-ADJ/NOPB has excellent thermal performance with minimal external components and the industry’s best transient response. This device provides an ideal solution for space-limited applications and requires no additional external components to provide a fully adjustable output voltage.
