The NCP81276 is a multiphase synchronous controller optimized for next-generation computing and graphics processors. The device is capable of driving up to four phases and incorporates differential voltage and phase current sensing, adaptive voltage positioning, and a PWM_VID interface to provide accurately regulated power to a computer or graphics controller. The integrated power saving interface (PSI) allows the processor to set the controller to one of three modes - all phases on, dynamic phase shedding or fixed low phase count mode - for high power efficiency under light load conditions. Dual-edge PWM multi-phase architecture ensures fast transient response and good dynamic current balance
